The Bible tells us to put its words into our hearts. Memorizing Scripture is a great way to not only learn the Bible, but to apply it every day. The verses you commit to memory are those that you will recall most readily in everyday life situations and circumstances. Below are some verses to look through and memorize.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

2 Corinthians 4:18

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
